The Venue

This year’s Dog Wedding is going glam! We’re taking over the stunning M&T Bank Exchange at the Hippodrome, a newly renovated event space that blends Gilded Age architecture with modern luxury. Think marble columns, dramatic lighting, and a stage big enough for puppy vows and dance-floor zoomies. Oh, and the best part? There’s an attached parking garage! No circling the block in heels or tuxedos — just park and walk in.

Dress Code

We’re calling it “Whimsical Formal.” If you’d wear it to a wedding, you’ll fit right in! Gowns, cocktail dresses, bow ties, sequins — it’s all fair game. The vibe is formal, but fun. You can’t overdress for this celebration (but bonus points for outfits inspired by love, rescue, or canine couture).

Event Schedule

5:30 PM – VIP Sponsor Early Access to Cocktail Hour: New this year! Select sponsor levels receive 30 extra minutes of exclusive cocktail time with early access to the bar, professional photo ops, and behind-the-scenes fun.

6:00 PM: Guest Check-In

6:00 PM – Cocktail Hour: Grab a drink, mingle with fellow animal lovers, and snap photos with our four-legged wedding party.

7:15 PM – The Ceremony: Watch as our adorable couple, Rooney and Wendell, tie the leash in a ceremony that’s equal parts heartwarming and hilarious. Bonus: the bridal party are adoptable kittens!

7:30 PM – Dinner & Dancing: Enjoy dinner, dessert, and a full night of music and fun. The dance floor at this event? Always packed.
